Autumn Queen

Hello Everyone  I am back with a picture of my progress on Autumn Queen as promised earlier on...  I was working on two more projects this week which are not related to Mirabilia, one is a keychain design by SODA if I am not mistaken (as I got pattern from a friend) and the other one is Cottage enchantment by Dimensions.  I have missing colours though and can't finish either of then completely.  Even though these works are not Mirabilia related I will add pictures of the finished projects later on when I do get to the finish line :) In the mean time here is our lovely Queen. I am having a little trouble with colours having two symbols, I can't find any relevant info that explains why. If anyone has already done Autumn I would appreciate your help.

Autumn Queen by Mirabilia

Hello everyone, I am back after a long while.. I started working on Autumn Queen on 24th February and am progressing quite nicely... shall be adding a picture at the end of this week. This looks like it's going to take a lot of time to finish with all the speciality threads and beads incorporated and I also noticed that there are some colours which have two symbols. I have asked quite a number of people about it but nobody seems to know whether there is a difference. Apparently Nora puts two different symbols according to the surrounding symbols so that they show up against the rest but it is just a theory. I am stitching the colours as they appear and since there are no specific directions as to the double symbols I am going to work both of them in the same way. So far it is looking good but you can't tell what it is. Hopefully by the end of this week it will show a few hints of the queen :)

Summer Queen

Hello again, it's been a long while since my last post.  I am very happy to announce that I finally finished all stitching on Summer Queen and am beading her as I speak.. While I was waiting for supplies to come over (ran out of beads )  I finished a small project called Blue Oriental Lady.. not a Mira but I will post a little pic of her as well..... Hope to finish all beading by the end of this week :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!

Hello everyone, it has been a long while since my last post. I wish you all the very best new year you can ever have, let's all make it a better one than the last.

I will soon post an update on Summer Queen, right now I am working on her head, and backstitching. Progress is a little slow because of the colour changes in her hair but I am getting there.  Then the plans for this year are to finish a little geisha I have started for my Mum, and a Honda Del Sol I am doing for my fiance. This is actually his car, took me already 1 year and 6 months of work, I am really hoping to finish it off by Valentine's at least. In the mean time I am waiting for the beads for Summer Queen so that I can complete it and before starting off with Autumn Queen, I have two kissing fairies (nothing to do with Mirabilia though) that Mum wants finished before anything else gets started. You see she had bought me Day Fairy, Night Fairy and the Kiss some 10 yrs ago and I only finished off Day fairy, which is a little bit of a disgrace from my part... don't you think?! Well anyhow, that is the plan for till end of April hopefully. I will be showing you whay I am up to on these other projects as well.

Anyways, I will catch up with you next Friday with a stitched up Summer Queen (beadless).

Progress

Hi again, wish you all a good week :)  This is as far as I got done last week, it wasn't a very productive week but I did put in some of the white. I am trying to finish off the dress first before I move on to the cloak and then the rest of her majesty.

I wish you all a good week, and talk to you in a week's time with hopefully some good progress on the queen.

Update on Summer Queen

Here I am again, one week away from the last picture of Summer Queen.  She is quite a quick stitch I must say and I've been working all evenings on it to get it to the finish line. I am trying to finish off the dress first :) Here is a picture of my progress :)

Summer Queen

Now it is time to start off a new Mirabilia and Summer Queen is following.  I started stitching on the 20th of October and so far I have these two progress pictures. The first one show all the work done from the 20th till the 22nd while the second picture shows the progress after spending a whole day stitching last saturday. I am stitching my way through this week as well and I hope to have some good progress by the end of the week.
